Description: 

The work of the contract generally involves the following:
• The supply and installation of a new 300mm diameter watermain along Glendon Road By open cut and horizontal directional drilling methods
• The supply and installation of new Meter Chamber and appurtenances including electrical components
• Coordination with Hydro One for electrical service to the new chamber
• Restoration of disturbed areas including curb and gutter, sidewalk, asphalt roadway and topsoil and sod as required.
• Hydrostatic and bacteriological testing of the new main, and
• The protection of the natural environment throughout the Contract Limits, and
The contractor shall be responsible for complete restoration of all areas disturbed during construction.
